Mini Makers

Come join us for a monthly series of art classes. Come explore new materials, build and create, read stories, sing songs, and make lots of art! We will be exploring a variety of mediums throughout the month and will adjust our projects to meet the interest of our mini makers. This is also a great opportunity for children who have not started school to join in a drop off class where it’s informal and filled with fun.
If your child’s school is within Loewen and Dempsey area, we provide a pick up service (by foot) from the school. Please email us (hello@snugasbug.com) and we can make arrangements.
Monthly Theme:
January:
Nature with Art – Using materials we forage from the neighborhood leaves, sticks, rocks and combining them with paint, clay and paper, students will create sculptures, prints, banners and collages.
February:
Come sail away – Students will build a boat on the first day from recycled materials then “sailing” to a new land on the globe each week we will look at different environments and create artworks inspired by those places.
March –
To be confirmed once we get to know the children and their interests.
